// CHAPTER 04 · ACAD-04
First Flight
Flight Cadet · Aviation · airmanship & 3D navigation
// COLD OPEN
Wheels-up at first light. The ring course glints over the desert — and the long-range array, far below, is lit red.
Pre-flight signed. Tower has cleared you for a solo on the ring course. Stay on the line, thread every gate.
TOWER
// QUICK OBJECTIVES
- Thread every ring gate in sequence.
- Hold attitude — no autopilot assists.
- Finish the course without going off the marked line.
// TRANSMISSION SIGN-OFF
On final approach VESPER pings you privately: the carrier is not noise. It's a swarm, and it has a heading.
