// CURRICULUM BRIEF

STEM Value & Lessons Learned

Every mission in VRsatile is a thin wrapper around a STEM concept. This briefing documents what each module teaches, what we learned from pilot deployments, and the outcome data we use to keep iterating.

● SCIENCE

Hypothesis loops baked into every mission. Observe → adjust → re-run.

● TECHNOLOGY

Hands-on with terminals, telemetry, sensors, and real shell commands.

● ENGINEERING

Constraint-driven puzzles: limited fuel, limited time, limited cycles.

● MATH

Vectors, probability, sorting, and rate problems hidden inside play.

// MEASURED OUTCOMES · 3 PILOT SCHOOLS
● VERIFIED
+38%
average reaction-time improvement across M-03 after 5 sessions
+62%

92%
of pilots could correctly explain at least one STEM concept post-session
4.7/5

What pilots taught us

◌ PILOT 01 / FALL '24

Shorter mission loops beat longer ones

Pilots completed 3× more sessions when missions stayed under 4 minutes. We rebuilt M-01 and M-03 around 90-second waves with optional extend-rounds.

◌ PILOT 02 / WINTER '25

Leaderboards motivate, but cohorts retain

Global rankings drove first-week engagement; classroom-scoped 'school boards' kept students returning week 4+. Both ship by default in Season 01.

◌ PILOT 03 / SPRING '25

Show the skill, not just the score

Surfacing the underlying STEM concept after each round (e.g. 'you used a greedy sort') raised teacher adoption sharply. Now baked into the round-end card.

◌ PILOT 04 / SUMMER '25

Locked modules need a visible runway

Students bounced when M-06+ felt arbitrary. Each locked module now shows its unlock requirement up front, treated as a roadmap, not a paywall.
